1st time boarding!

The gang- seth, dave, pete, jess, cassie, and brian
So Dec. 31, 07 marks the first day I have been snowboarding! It wasn't as bad as I expected the first day to be... now the second day is what was bad! I could barely move! I'm taking a snowboarding class this semester so hopefully my skills improve... or else I may need to take up another sport. We went to Solitude up Big Cottonwood Canyon in Utah. It was great, thanks to such great helpers. I really was on my feet more than the pics prove!

Dethawing after a freezing day!

Jess and I trailing behind back to the car. Luckily it was her first day too so we both went through the good and bad together!

I'll Be Home For Christmas!

Visiting AZ was fantabulous and full of fun things... and lots of good food!
I started off going to the SUNS vs. jazz game... the suns won of course.

Went to breakfast with my aunt, mom, neice, sisters, and my cousin. Pictured is my sister Mitchell (Michelle), cousin Katie, me, and sister Lisa.

At the Tarwater family Christmas party with my extended fam.

Visiting with my best friend from 1st grade- Marni and her new baby boy and daughter.
Nothing like AZ Mexican food. I tried out a new delicious place called "Tradition" in Phoenix with Lisa and Ward fam and Michelle.
Eating again at Joe's Farmhouse Grill in Gilbert. This was their cream puff dessert. I love their burgers and pizza! Some of my sweet fam after church- devin, mom, dad, mitchell, and me!Seeing the lights at the AZ temple... better than slc's I think. I loved Max's gear. I thought he looked so cute! An Michelle is a nice touch as well.Kids have it easy... where's my shoulder ride while we walk around? For those of you that don't know Michelle... she is an amazing gourmet cook! She made this 4 layer coconut cream cake for us. It was yummy... feeling the pounds lay on me heavier! Our traditional Christmas Eve outing to Macayos Mexican food restaurant. I love that place. It's one of my all time favs. The cast for the live nativity.Sporting all of our new pajamas!P.J.'s 'R Us- Kids bring the excitement for Christmas.Gotta rock it out to a little Guitar Hero after our Christmas brunch at Lisa and Ward's Casa. The last family outing before I headed back to Utah. This is at Nello's pizzaria. Some of the best pizza out there according to me!After Nellos, some of us headed to the broadway, "Annie." It was fun.
As always, it was great to be home and was full of fun adventures!

A surprise for me!

Jeff gave me my presents before went went on his surprise Christmas present. He spoiled me! I loved seeing his smiley face when he saw my excited expression. He loaded me up for snowboarding- a new board, bindings, boots, snow pants and a snow jacket... SpOiLeD!

Honky Tonk Town

For Christmas I surprised Jeff with a trip to Tennessee to watch the NFL Titans play. Jeff's best friend's dad, Norm Chow, is the head offensive coordinator for the team and Jeff has been wanting to go and watch the team. Norm gave us all the behind the scene tours, sideline passes, we got to watch the practice, etc. I don't know how I kept it a secret for so many months! I didn't tell him until we were on the way to the airport! We fit in a lot of Nashville fun as well as the football. It was awesome.

The workout room. The team could live at their practice facility if they wanted to. It has everything you need- a bank, cafeteria, beds, on call hair stylist... everything!

Some pics from the country hall of fame museum.

Downtown

You gotta have some good ole southern bbq when you're in the south! "Jack's BBQ" in Nashville was awesome! Everyone should go!

We went and watched the New York Rockettes perform their Christmas Spectacular at the Grand Ole Opry House. It was very entertaining!

After we went to an place of ice- where there where the theme was scenes from the Grinch who
stole Christmas. EVERYTHING was ice! It was FrEeZiNg! We thought we wouldn't need the extra jacket being used to the cold but I was beginning to feel like I was ice!

These are at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. It feels like Disneyland inside. The Christmas lights inside were beautiful!

GAME DAY!

We ended with the famous "Loveless Cafe." Delicious southern grub. You aren't a famous country star unless you've eaten here. Even people like Al Gore stop in to eat here! Yahoo!
