So alright... not only did I tag up my brother's car, but some of my friend's car as well... they got me back by writing on my house windows... but yes, I am me and drove back down to their house at 1 in the morning to tag them all... AGAIN! BYU was erased from my windows very quickly so that no one would even think I had any part in cheering for them...

So, it is my job as the big sis to keep my brother in line... I thought I would help him out this week with cheering for the right team for the big game. Luckily, he took it well and thought it was hilarious. Unfortunely, he saw it that night and went straight to the gas station to clean his windows off. Weird that he wouldn't make eye contact with anyone along the way! Dearest brother... one day you will learn. Maybe it will be tomorrow. GGGGGOOOOO UUUUUTTTEEESS!

So... maybe I'm not Arizona bound after all... yet another bitter sweet time. New York has come into the picture. I got an awesome internship in New Hyde Park in New York on Long Island! Sweet! Now it's all about weighing the pros and cons and seeing what I end up with. Balance leaning towards... NEW YORK!

And finally... something

Life has had its fair share of challenges for me in 2008, but finally, something looking up! I have applied for Child Life internships after internships and nothing. But last week I decided to fly down to Arizona for an internship interview, not having very high hopes. Well... this week I got a phone call and an offer! I HAVE AN INTERNSHIP! Finally! It's at Banner Children's at Banner Desert Hospital in Mesa. It was kind of funny though because I was so excited, yet so sad. God is probably thinking I am hard to please! I'm excited for the adventure back to Arizona after being gone for 8 years, but I am sad to leave some of the most amazing friends and brother in the world. I feel bad for those of you who don't know them, because they are truly amazing. They have made such a strong influence in my life and have given me precious memories to cherish. You are loved and will be missed... I better have some visitors!

Bridal Shower Fun...

So I got to plan a shower for one of my bffs. We did it luau style and it was so much fun. Everyone was lei'd when they entered. I impressed myself with my grilling skills with briquet coals... I was a little worried at first, but the terryaki chicken as well as vegetable kabobs all worked out! Few! We hung out, did a few quizzes, presents, watched the "Friends" bridal shower episode, etc. Super fun. Oh and don't forget the party favor treats and... the popscicle minis... and yes... they were extremely mini! About the size of my pinky. Of all the popsicle choices and thats what I ended up coming home with!!

Congrats to my dear friend Syd. I wish you the best. You mean the world to me. I am excited for your new endeavor in life. You're just a sweetheart.
